Chess is a two-player strategy game that is played on a square board divided into 64 squares of alternating colors. The objective of the game is to checkmate your opponent's king, which means putting the king in a position where it is under attack and cannot escape capture.

The pieces include the king, queen, rooks, bishops, knights, and pawns, each with its own unique movements.

Each our classes allows the student to progress which allows the student to master the basics which will allow them to develop problem-solving skills, improve memory and most importantly win games.

After we have taught your child the basics of chess we then progress to understanding and learning multiple basic strategies and tactics of play. This will allow your child to learn to think ahead, anticipate opponents' moves, and come up with their own strategies and tactics.

Practice and Repetition: Practice and repetition are crucial to improving chess strategies and tactics. Engage in regular practice sessions where you can apply the concepts you have learned and develop your skills.

You can play against other players, participate in chess tournaments, and solve chess puzzles to challenge yourself and expand your understanding of the game.

Additionally, we regularly review and analyze your games with students to help track progress and identify areas for improvement.

After years of experimenting with various classroom sizes, we have concluded that by having a smaller classroom we are able to provide every student the individual attention that they require.
